The concept for this album began over a discussion on the Noise Ireland Facebook page in 2019, about what to do with a number of very short tapes I had recently acquired cheaply. I made a joke that everyone could make a 30 second track for a scene compilation, and surprisingly people were into it. Of course nothing ever runs smoothly, turned out the tape counter on my deck was broken so the tapes weren't actually as short as I thought, meaning some peoples tracks got to be longer, the two part comp became one, etc etc. Sure that's half the fun of it. It's a nice snapshot of a more innocent time in the noise scene in Ireland just before Covid hit. Thanks to Frodo for the artwork and to everyone who contributed. You're all sound.

Some tapes got out there before my tape player and my brain broke. If you would like a physical copy, please get in touch. I think I still have a folder full of unfolded tape covers somewhere.
